WK kortebaanzwemmen - Peking organiseert editie van 2026

De vorige editie van het WK kortebaan stond in 2024 in de Hongaarse hoofdstad Boedapest op het programma. China organiseerde het event al in 2006 in Shanghai en in 2018 in Hangzhou.

In februari vorig jaar raakte al bekend dat het WK zwemmen (alle disciplines) in 2029 zal neerstrijken in Peking.

La Néerlandaise Ellen van Dijk, âgée de 38 ans, prendra sa retraite à la fin de la saison, a-t-elle annoncé mardi soir à l'émission De Avondetappe diffusée sur la télévision néerlandaise.

Critérium d'après-Tour - Thymen Arensman s'impose encore à Surhuisterveen

Déjà vainqueur la veille à Boxmeer, Thymen Arensman (Ineos-Grenadiers) a remporté un deuxième critérium d'après-tour mardi à Surhuisterveen, aux Pays-Bas. Le Néerlandais de 25 ans a précédé à l'arrivée l'Italien Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) et l'Australien Ben O'Connor (Jayco AlUla).

Thymen Arensman wint na Boxmeer ook Profronde van Surhuisterveen

Thymen Arensman heeft dinsdagavond de Profronde van Surhuisterveen, het tweede na-Tourcriterium in Nederland, gewonnen. De 25-jarige Nederlander van INEOS Grenadiers kwam solo over de finish. Vlak achter hem won Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek), de Italiaanse winnaar van de groene trui in de Tour de France, de sprint voor de tweede plaats van de Australiër Ben O'Connor (Team Jayco AlUla).

Tijdritspecialiste Ellen van Dijk hangt na dit seizoen fiets aan de haak

Ellen van Dijk zet na dit seizoen een punt achter haar loopbaan. Dat maakte de Nederlandse wielrenster dinsdagavond zelf bekend in het Nederlandse televisieprogramma De Avondetappe.

Critérium d'après-Tour - Tim Merlier s'impose au sprint devant Tim Wellens et Thibau Nys à Roulers

Tim Merlier (Soudal Quick-Step) a inscrit son nom au palmarès du critérium d'après-tour de Roulers mardi soir. Le champion d'Europe a dominé au sprint le champion de Belgique Tim Wellens (UAE Emirates-XRG) et Thibau Nys (Lidl-Trek). Merlier succède à Mathieu van der Poel au palmarès de la course roularienne.
