Wereldspelen - Florian Bayili schenkt België vierde gouden medaille

De finale tussen de 29-jarige Brusselaar en Mohamed Ali Alsuwaidi uit de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten eindigde op een scoreloos gelijkspel, uiteindelijk haalde hij het met 2-1 op de voordeelpunten. Het brons was voor de Zuid-Koreaan Seong Hyeon Joo, die in de halve finales uitgeschakeld werd door onze landgenoot.

Nafi Thiam au départ du 100m haies samedi à Louvain

Nafi Thiam continue à préparer les championnats du monde d'athlétisme de Tokyo (13-21 septembre). Ce samedi la triple championne olympique de l'heptathlon sera au départ du 100m haies du "Meeting voor Mon" de Louvain, organisé par le club local du Daring Club Leuven Atletiek (DCLA).

Diables Rouges - Les Diables Rouges organiseront un entraînement ouvert au public le 1er septembre

Les Diables Rouges organiseront une séance d'entraînement ouverte au public le lundi 1er septembre (18h00) en prévision des matchs de qualification pour la Coupe du monde contre le Liechtenstein (4 septembre) et le Kazakhstan (7 septembre), a annoncé lundi l'Union belge de football (URBSFA). L'entrainement se tiendra au camp de base de l'équipe nationale, à Tubize.

Jeux Mondiaux - Florian Bayili à nouveau en or quatre ans plus tard: "Le miracle de Chengdu"

Trois ans après son titre enlevé à Birmingham (Alabama), Florian Bayili a remporté à nouveau la médaille d'or en ju-jitsu (-69 kg) aux Jeux Mondiaux de Chengdu, lundi en Chine. Et comme en 2022, le Bruxellois de 29 ans a pris le meilleur en finale sur l'Émirati Mohamed Ali Alsuwaidi.
