Challenger Pro League - Le Beerschot recrute l'ancien gardien des Francs Borains Xavier Gies

Gies, 28 ans, a été formé à Anderlecht. Après un passage à Roulers, il a défendu le but de Dender entre 2015 et 2024, contribuant à la promotion en Jupiler Pro League du club il y a deux ans grâce à 11 'clean sheets'. La saison passée, il a disputé 25 rencontres avec les Francs Borains.

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a effectué une belle remontée au rallye de Finlande en passant de la 5e à la 2e place au terme de la seconde boucle de la journée de vendredi. Une prestation que le Saint-Vithois doit notamment à l'apparition de la pluie dans l'après-midi.

Rally van Finland - Omstandigheden lagen Neuville vrijdagnamiddag beter

Op het einde van de tweede wedstrijddag van de Rally van Finland is Thierry Neuville (Hyundai i20) opgeschoven naar de tweede plaats op 4.9 van Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris). Vrijdagnamiddag was de Belg over vijf klassementsritten nauwelijks een halve seconde trager dan de Fin.

Marie Benoit beëindigt tennisloopbaan

Marie Benoit zet een punt achter haar tennisloopbaan. Dat deelde ze vrijdag via Instagram mee. "Ik zie mezelf geen heel seizoen lang meer de mentale en fysieke inspanningen leveren die noodzakelijk zijn om mijn doelen te bereiken", postte de dertigjarige Eupense.
