Challenger 75 de Bunschoten - Gauthier Onclin s'arrête en quarts de finale

Classé tête de série N.6 dans cette épreuve qui offre 91.250 euros de prix, l'Ebbenois de 24 ans a cédé devant le Néerlandais Guy Den Ouden, 23 ans, 184e mondial et tête de série N.2.

Le natif d'Utrecht s'est imposé 6-2 et 6-3 en 1 heure et 31 minutes. Den Ouden mène désormais 3 victoires à 2 dans leurs confrontations.

Plus tard dans l'après-midi, Kimmer Coppejans (ATP 237), 31 ans, jouera son quart de finale contre l'Argentin Nicolas Kicker (ATP 394), 32 ans, issu des qualifications.

Troisième Belge présent à Bunschoten, Michael Geerts (ATP D-358) joue sa demi-finale du double en compagnie de l'Allemand Tim Rühl (ATP D-229) vendredi après-midi. Les Brésiliens Daniel Dutra da Silva (ATP D-419) et Matheus Pucinelli De Almeida (ATP D-656) lui contesteront la place en finale.
