Alexander Zverev, 3e joueur mondial et 2e tête de série, s'est qualifié jeudi pour le dernier carré du Master 1000 de Madrid, tournoi de tennis sur terre battue doté de 8.235.540 euros. L'Allemand a battu l'Italien Flavio Cobolli (ATP 13/N.10) en deux manches (6-1, 6-4) et affrontera Alexander Blockx (ATP 69) vendredi pour une place en finale.
