Wereldspelen - Arnaud Dely wint zilveren medaille in duatlon

De atleten moeten tien kilometer lopen, 44 kilometer fietsen en dan nog eens vijf kilometer lopen. Dely deed dat in één uur, veertien minuten en 23 seconden.

Dely eindigde op de Wereldspelen in het Amerikaanse Birmingham in 2022 op de vijfde plaats.

Jeanne Dupont, Lisa Isebaert en Eleonore Hiller zullen vrijdag deelnemen aan de wedstrijd voor de vrouwen. Zondag staat de gemengde estafette op het programma.

Ronde van Denemarken - Mads Pedersen dankt ploegmaats voor tweede ritzege

"Een overwinning zoals vandaag kan je niet alleen verwezenlijken. Daar heb je een heel team voor nodig", dankte de Deen Mads Pedersen (Lidl-Trek) vrijdag zijn ploegmaats na zijn tweede ritoverwinning in de ronde van zijn land. "Ik was gaan aanvallen en mijn ploeggenoten stopten elke tegenreactie netjes af. Zij namen alle zin om in de tegenaanval te gaan weg bij mijn concurrenten. Zonder hen win ik vandaag niet."

GP Yvonne Reynders - Cristina Tonetti na eerste profzege: "Mijn overleden vader reed aan mijn zijde"

Cristina Tonetti (Laboral KutXa) heeft vrijdag met de GP Yvonne Reynders haar eerste profzege geboekt. De 23-jarige Italiaanse muisde in de laatste vijf kilometer weg uit een kopgroep met vijf rensters. Ze slaagde erin solo te finishen. Bij het overschrijden van de eindmeet wees en keek de Italiaanse de hemel in. En dat had zo zijn reden.

GP Yvonne Reynders - L'Italienne Cristina Tonetti remporte la victoire en solitaire

Cristina Tonetti (Laboral KutXa) a remporté vendredi la quatrième édition du GP Yvonne Reynders (1.1), avec départ et arrivée après 133,2 kilomètres à Noorderwijk. L'Italienne de 23 ans s'est imposée après un solo de cinq kilomètres. Il s'agit de sa première victoire de la saison. Teniel Campbell (Smurfit) de Trinité-et-Tobago a terminé deuxième, légèrement distancée, devant la Néerlandaise Eline Jansen (VolkerWessels).

Circuit Franco-Belge - Jonas Abrahamsen "très content" de son été auréolé aussi d'un succès au Tour de France

Le Norvégien Jonas Abrahamsen (Uno-X Mobility) s'est imposé vendredi en puissance dans la 84e édition du Circuit Franco-Belge. Membre très actif de l'échappée finale avec Xandro Meurisse (Alpecin-Deceuninck) et le Suisse Fabio Christen (Q36.5), le vainqueur de la 11e étape du Tour de France à Toulouse, a lancé son sprint aux 500 mètres pour s'imposer en haut du Mont-de-L'Enclus où il a succédé à l'Érythréen Biniam Gimray, vainqueur l'an dernier.
