Tour - Elleboogblessure houdt Wout van Aert weg uit Tour de France

Wout van Aert zal op 4 juli in Barcelona niet aan de start van de Tour de France staan. Dat meldt zijn team Visma | Lease a Bike. De 31-jarige Kempenaar geraakt niet tijdig hersteld van de elleboogblessure die hij opliep bij een val op training in de aanloop naar de Tour Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.

Ajay Mitchell zal deze zomer niet in actie komen voor de Belgian Lions. Champions League - UEFA wijst idee van vaste drankpauzes tijdens kampioenenbal af

De Europese voetbalbond UEFA zegt geen plannen te hebben vaste drankpauzes in te voeren tijdens de Champions League komend seizoen. De aankondiging komt er na kritiek dat de onderbrekingen tijdens het WK voetbal het ritme van de wedstrijden verstoren en door coaches worden gebruikt om tactisch bij te sturen.
