Rafinha hangt schoenen aan de haak

Rafinha debuteerde in eigen land voor Coritiba en belandde in 2005 bij Schalke 04. Daar bleef hij tot 2010. Na een seizoen in dienst van Genoa verhuisde de verdediger naar Bayern München. Met de Rekordmeister beleefde hij tussen 2011 en 2019 de meest succesvolle periode uit zijn loopbaan. Hij won onder meer zeven landstitels, vier keer de Duitse beker en in 2013 de Champions League en het WK voor clubs.

Na zijn vertrek uit München speelde Rafinha nog voor Flamengo, Olympiacos, Gremio en Sao Paulo. Sinds maart droeg hij het shirt van Coritiba FC. De rechtsback kwam vier keer uit voor de nationale ploeg van Brazilië.

De laatste berg van de Tour de France baarde vrijdag uiteindelijk een muis. Op de slotklim naar La Plagne in de laatste bergrit kwam er amper vuurwerk tussen tenoren Tadej Pogacar en Jonas Vingegaard. Na afloop gaf de Sloveense gele trui in zijn flashinterview een verbaal prikje aan rivaal Vingegaard.

Tour de France - "Arensman a placé la bonne attaque au bon moment", reconnaît Pogacar, 3e à La Plagne

Déjà vainqueur de 4 étapes sur le Tour de France 2025, Tadej Pogacar avait annoncé qu'il souhaitait s'imposer sur la 19e étape vendredi au sommet de La Plagne. Le maillot jaune a finalement pris la 3e place derrière Jonas Vingegaard et Thymen Arensman, vainqueur de cette dernière étape de montagne.

Vainqueur vendredi de sa deuxième étape sur le Tour de France 2025 à La Plagne, le Néerlandais Thymen Arensman (Ineos-Grenadiers) avait les traits tirés après l'étape. "Je suis complètement détruit", a-t-il reconnu en souriant lors de l'interview télévisée.
